Our Story

At H2O Bathroom Solutions, our journey began with a wealth of experience in the bathroom industry. Our founder started their career in 1987 at Mitchells Tile and Bathrooms, eventually becoming the manager. It was during this time that they worked alongside Phil and Ian, who would later join the H2O team.

In 1996, Mitchells was acquired by Porcelanosa, and our founder went on to manage the Porcelanosa Sheffield showroom. It was here that Martin, a Merchandiser based out of Doncaster, joined the team over 30 years ago. While their career paths diverged, both gained invaluable expertise in the industry.

Our founder's career took them to Leeds, Doncaster, and Newcastle, where they established a brand-new Porcelanosa region before returning to Doncaster as General Manager of the Yorkshire region. Meanwhile, Martin advanced to manage the flagship Yorkshire showroom in Doncaster.

In March 2008, Richard Hardy and Martin Price, our founders, decided to take the leap and open a showroom in Sheffield. By June 2008, H2O Bathroom Solutions was born, operating out of modest premises opposite Porcelanosa Sheffield. Despite launching during the banking crisis, we quickly discovered a demand for a mid- to high-end bathroom provider offering complete solutions, including design, supply, and installation, for customers in Sheffield and the surrounding areas.

Within 12 to 18 months, our showroom expanded to the adjacent property, and we welcomed Phil and Ian to the team. Over the years, we steadily grew the business, increasing our team of skilled installers and enhancing our services. This growth culminated in the purchase of our current premises, which brought our showroom and warehouse together under one roof.

Today, our state-of-the-art showroom showcases over 40 bathroom settings, constantly updated to reflect the latest trends and innovations. We are proud to employ a dedicated team of 10 professionals and work with approximately 17 installation teams. Each year, we design and install around 300 bathrooms and provide a vibrant supply-only and trade/commercial offering.
